Drone Sector patch 1.4 introduces a public previous-version Steam branch for v0.1.3 and updates several maps with lighting adjustments and added cover. The HUD toggle key is changed to Numpad 0, and unimplemented research options are now hidden. Vehicle movement and AI have been reworked for better control, while railgun hits now deal armor-piercing damage with increased area-of-effect. Tactical pathfinding has been improved for faster iteration, though it may impact performance, and ground-to-ground friendly fire is disabled outside Sandbox Mode.
