Escape the Backrooms update 1.2 adds support for Traditional Chinese, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese. Several bugs were fixed, including mic audio issues on the boat in Thalassophobia, animation and spawn point errors in Thalassophobia, and softlocks related to slides in Overgrowth. The update also resolves lighting errors on Level 37.2 and ensures night-time animatronics appear properly on Level 94 in co-op mode. UI improvements and fixes were implemented for controller navigation, graphics settings, splash screen skipping, resolution errors, and Steam Deck compatibility.
